NCC Acts – Hygiene Kits for PCI

Our NCC Acts for 2016 are rolling, and here’s your chance to jump in!

Thanks to your generosity and God’s Provision, we’ve already delivered over $1,800 worth of requested Christian resources to the Pasquotank Correctional Institution (PCI) Chapel library!

Our next project includes packing and delivering personal hygiene kits for 750 inmates at PCI. Because of your incredible giving, New Community was able to purchase over $4,600 worth of needs for the kits. (That’s double what the State provided in kits they recently distributed!)

Now we just need to pack and deliver the kits to those who need them!

Mark you calendars for Tuesday, March 15th.

We will have two opportunities for you to serve at Pasquotank Correctional Institution, here in Elizabeth City:

At 3pm, a NCC team of 12 adults (age 21 and older) will assemble 750 kits from items we purchased. (This activity involves no contact with inmates.)

At 6pm, a NCC team of 25 adults (age 21 and older) will help distribute those kits to the inmates.

If you’d love to be a part of this NCC Act, sign-up at the Information Center this Sunday, or contact the church office.

We’re excited to live out Matthew 25:36 together!
